Minneapolis-based AI startup Gudea has secured $7 million in seed funding to expand its platform for predicting how online narratives spread across social media. The round was co-led by Mudita Venture Partners and Collide Capital, bringing the company’s total funding to approximately $15 million since its founding in 2023.

Founded by CEO Keith Presley and his team, Gudea uses artificial intelligence, deep learning and graph neural networks to analyze how information spreads across more than 600 social media platforms. The technology helps businesses identify emerging narratives, anticipate reputational risks and predict when online discussions could gain momentum. The Minnesota startup reports 357% year-over-year revenue growth and currently serves 39 customers across industries including AI, telecommunications, entertainment and retail.

Gudea plans to use the new venture capital to grow its team, develop additional platform features and expand coverage across languages, regions and social networks. The company currently employs approximately 25 people and offers businesses automated reports, alerts and predictive analytics to monitor online conversations.
