Kipsu, the Minneapolis-based customer experience platform, announced on September 24 that M-One Capital has made a minority investment in the company. Terms were not disclosed.

Kipsu helps hotels, health systems, and other service organizations message the people they serve in real time and coordinate the frontline work behind those conversations. The company serves more than 45 million guests a year across 11,000-plus sites worldwide.

Founder and CEO Chris Smith said the capital will go toward growing the team, building more operational and AI-enabled features, pushing deeper into hospitality, and expanding in healthcare. Kipsu also plans to look at acquisitions that add to its platform.

M-One Capital, based in Omaha, backs founder-led companies where management keeps operating control and meaningful ownership. The firm rebranded from McCarthy Capital in 2025. Managing Director BJ Hansen pointed to Kipsu's customer retention, culture, and track record of scaling a mission-critical product as reasons for the investment.
